Payment Templates

Users are now able to create and manage single payment templates, which are predefined originator-beneficiary relationships.  Templated payments can greatly improve payment efficiency and offer improved controls.

File Upload Workflows

There is now a file upload option for several of our workflows.

• Counterparty creation

  • Talon’s counterparty instruction API now supports a bulk upload option, enabling users to create a large number of new counterparty records (i.e. payment instructions) in one step.

• Template creation

  • Similar to the above, templates can also be created in bulk, which can be a significant time savings during onboarding.

• Payment initiation

  • If users are used to uploading payment files received from their bookkeeping teams directly into various banking portals, we now offer an consolidated and dynamic version of this process.  Payment initiation files can be uploaded for single payments, batch payments, freeform, or templated.
